Second-year graduate student, Lynda Lin, has been accepted to the Training Course in fMRI at the University of Michigan. The University will offer a 2-week intensive course that will train attendees on the motivation for using fMRI, the physics that underlies the technique, the design of experiments, the acquisition of data, the analysis of those data, and the interpretation of brain activations that result. PhD student accepted to Sackler Summer Institute
Second-year graduate student, Kathy Do, has been accepted to the Mortimer D. Sackler Summer Institute at Weill Cornell Medical School. This year’s course will focus on law and neuroscience specifically as it relates to juvenile justice reform, racial bias and lie detection and feature an all-star cast of distinguished neuroscientists, psychologists and legal scholars as speakers.
